Sportsmanship
The Thunder Valley Classic organization committee wants to ensure that all players and teams feel at home when visiting Woodstock High School. Our staff is committed to providing a safe environement for players and fans – both physically and emotionally. We understand that although emotions do run high during the course of a game, we strongly encourage players to maintain their composure when interacting with opponents. In order to create an atmosphere that is highly competitive and fun as well, it is necessary that we stress this to our players. Additionally, the Thunder Valley Classic does not tolerate unsportsmanlike conduct from the fans as well. We understand that there may be instances when the officiating crew make mistakes; however, we urge you to keep in mind that TVC2009 is committed to reducing such official abuse, and by doing so, we are able to obtain the highest quality of officials due to the friendly environment we strive to create.
